First look at the photos:
intererior design: It doesn't look bad
exterior design: The roof wants to tell: It never rains in California ...
But does it never pour or is it never windy? I am afraid that there will be some repair jobs the next few years.

What is wrong with the roof?
The protuding wooden beams need extra whether protection against water. But I am living at a place with 1,000 mm precipitation annually and winter temperatures sometimes around 0° C. Maybe that place in California offers much better conditions and the next repair will be in a few decades ...
Pop Up implies no compliance with building or planning codes. Maybe a temporary shed like structure,
