I'm looking to set-up a wireless home theater in Dobly Atmos configuration. However it seems the transmitter supports at most 7.1 so I guess I should look for another vendor. Can someone confirm me this is the case?
This is true. However you could always add more Transmitter 1's to the setup.

The Beolab transmitter support 8 channel so you choice if it has to 7.1 or 8.0 or 5.3 or what you want
How can I do that? I couldn't find anything in the manual to suggest that multiple transmitters can be paired
At os requires 7.1.4 so I think I'm 4 channels short

As I assume you will use a surround processor with atmos pre-out, the possibility of using two transmitter should not be a problem at all.
The only reason it have not been stated is maybe because there is very few people who have this option available as the cost will be high and the room required will have to be large.
I drive two Beolab 17 and a 19 with an transmitter 1, and the transmitter does not detect the speaker as something special, only the surround processor does that, so no problem.

Seems are right! If you have enough Beolab T1s in theory you can each up to 72 sound channels(each country seems to have about 9 channels available on the 5Ghz band).
