As I look at the Essence and the A6, it appears to me that they have basically the same functionality. An Essence with a pair of connected speakers functions basically as the A6 does. If one wants a simple NL system consisting of either the Essence with connected speakers in one room or an A6, and a single NL product in another room connected wirelessly. with such a system, is there any functionality difference between the Essence and an A6? (Other than the Essence remote and hands on control of the A6) Thanks!

Yes - you can add an ir-eye to the Essence-box,
which lets you use a Beo-remote (that's what I would prefer).
