Hey guys, i've bought a sp-10 cartridge in a stunning little wooden box, i can't find any info on it, is it rare or collectable?

As so many vintage B&O items, I don't think it's that "rare" in the strict definition of the word, but definitely collectable.

And a nice item in any case - hold on to it, they aren't making any more of them Smile

Maybe it was meant for a member of the royal danish family Embarrassed

I've seen a few SP cartridges of this age in these wooden boxes. But as Mika said, they are not common and certainly a lovely find.

Thanks guys,

I didn't need the cartridge.. i just liked the box and.... well, it was cheap (to say the least) :D

The box is actually even a lot more beautiful than the picture suggests, it's amazingly made and i think the logo is in bronze or something. Packaging is definitely something B&O knew well back in the day..

Milo I have a similar one and they are indeed very well finished.

SP9 came in these boxes.
Some boxes had the metal logo (as shown), others had a stamped logo.
