I have a problem with the video disappearing after about 20 mins of operation. Sound is OK but no video on the TV input or Apple TV input. The latest software version is installed 1.0.11.37385.

Problem usually fixes itself by turning system off at the wall, leaving for some time then restarting and letting the red light flash for a couple of hours.  Inconvenient ... to say the least.

Any ideas?

Something turns it self off due to heat, you have a board failure. Call your shop for a warranty repair.

Thanks...my thoughts were similar.  Has anyone else experienced the same or similar problem?

Definitely sounds like some kind of fault being that you've changed source but you still get sound. I'd suggest ringing the dealer to have them sort it :)

Sounds like a backlight problem. Not a board.

Ah, you know... A little B&O here, a little there

Thanks for the response.  The dealer has come to the party and I now have a loan V1-40" while they get it fixed.

Just thought I'd update this story as I was tracking back to see how long I've been waiting for my original Beoplay V1 to be returned from service.  We are getting by with a loan device but so far the service guy has not been able to fix the fault and now of course the V1 is out of production and the B&O screen sub-supplier has changed from LG to Samsung ( or perhaps it's the other way round).  So B&O are having trouble getting a replacement.

Our unit was returned to us for a short time but the fault wasn't fixed.

Is 12 months too long for a fault to be fixed?  Perhaps

and perhaps another warning sign not to buy a pre LG-B&O tv.

....and why would that - per definition - be better/different?

....and what makes you think that that would be better by LG?

Just hoping it will be, it certainly can't be any worse!

They couldn't fix it in one year? That's crazy. If they can't source parts they should exchange it for an horizon.

What kind of loan device?

If it's another V1, maybe you should not worry much?
