Hi,

Have today purchased a Beoplay A9 MK2.

I have a problem playing to it using DLNA. When trying to play an album or a playlist only first track is played then the Beoplay starts playing music from another source (I believe it is from TuneIn).

I have tried playing from different DLNA servers (Plex, Twonky, Jriver) and the problem is the same, the playback stops after first track.

I have also used different apps on my phone (Nexus 6P): BubbleUPnP, MediaHouse-Pro UPnP/DLNA and Gizmo. With all I experience the same problem.

I do not experience any problems playing to other players using DLNA, so my issue is isolated to the Beoplay A9.

I am running latest SW on the A9.

Brgds

Michael

OK, seemed that the problem was connected to Androids new Doze function.

When turning off Androids battery optimisation for the app seems to have solved my problem.

However I still have one issue. There is a huge gap of approximately 20 seconds between tracks when streaming to the A9 using DLNA.

Are others experiencing the same issue?

It's pretty annoying with this long waiting time before next track is played.
