Hello,

For some time now the 2000 remains stuck on the "stop" position even when the cassette has been taken out. If I plug it off the mains and plug it on again, its shows the "stand"by" led OK but If I play a cassette, the same problem comes on again.

I think I'll have to set up an "on/off" switch as it's no good leaving the motor running permanently !

Any other suggestions ?

Thanks and all the best from France.

Welcome to Beoworld !

If nothing happens when you press Standby (the red dot on the front panel), perhaps the
bronze spring contact inside has no contact to its pin on the circuitboard.
