Bang & Olufsen will be demonstrating its new BeoLab 90 speaker during the show and promises the global unveiling of a "new B&O product". What that might be is anyone's guess at present - a new TV perhaps?

We do know that there will be BeoLink Multiroom products to see too.

Good afternoon,

Some here have discussed the possibility of a partnership with a major TV manufacturer.

A wild guess would be a thin OLED panel that sticks on the wall, as it was discussed here sometimes ago. Technically, that would be feasible for B&O: LG supplies the raw panel and B&O applies an antireflective coating to it. They introduce a new center speaker and the A/V processing is done by a hidden Beosystem 5.

B&O did already something similar in the past for the Beovision 4 and 12 (separate panel and processor), so that would be possible for a thin OLED panel and the R&D costs would not be that big.

A more realistic guess would be the low cost 4K TV that was discussed here. I am sure that B&O has already a working prototype that they could show at the CES.

Regards,

Jean

As discussed in the other 'new products'-thread, it most likely is a new 'link speaker', something like the BL3500 and more....

Probably the will be demoing the BL90 as well.

There even was a picture, which is aupposed to show that (?).

We'll soon know!

I don't expect anything 'about a new BV yet.

MM

There is a tv - and there is a BV
