Hi Guys

I have bought a pair of H8 headphones primarily because of the wireless function. This evening I tried to watch a video on my ipad and the lip sync is terrible! Is there a fix for this?!

Another few irritable things I have noted Is the inability of controlling the volume on the ear plate when using the cable, which I had to use because of the poor audio and video sync. Worse still, the cable had no audio control on it!

I have never used noise cancelling headphones before so I apologise in advance. There's a slight hiss when the ANC is on and the audio is slightly muted, Is this normal? Maybe I should have got the H7s instead.

Truly bad form for B&O.

Bluetooth is not a particularly good technology. Its bitrate is too low for uncompressed audio, so the player needs to compress it first. That adds a delay and reduces quality. Actually, there are different codecs used for compression, and some have better quality and higher delay than others. The codec is chosen automatically by the equipment after a negotiation between sender and receiver. For video, the player can delay the picture to compensate for the delay. There isn't anything that the headphones can do. So you should look for a fix on the iPad.
