Hi all,
Just bought a second hand DVD-2 player which is in excellent cosmetic condition, but i cannot seem to get it to work., Even the drop down lid works on its damper too !
I have tried it connected to an AV9000 and a Beovision 7 via the scart, named the scart to V.AUX2 on the Beo4 remote.
All i get it a grey onscreen menu asking me to set the time and date, but i cannot imput any data on this menu via the beo4.
The disc tray will open when pressed on the DVD-2 player, the disc loads, says READING for a short while whilst making a wurring noise, then prints up NO SIGNAL on the DVD-2 Display and does nothing more ???
I could have bought another pile of junk here thats faulty, or it could be something simple i have over looked.
Any ideas how to make it work?

Hi Phil,
Have you tired registering the BV7 input as DVD instead, or VMEM? If you use V.AUX2 the DVD2 starts up in tuner mode, so perhaps the tuner part is not working?
