I'm working on a 5.1.2 surround system. So far I have two pairs of beolab 17 and one beolab 11. I didn't decide the ceiling speakers yet. I previously had a pair of beolab 18 too but I sold it to get the second pair of beolab 17 as it seems recommended to use the same model of speakers everywhere(if possible).
So I'm wondering if it's better to use another beolab 17 as center speaker too or a beolab 10.
Why don't you consider the Beolab 15, yes they are most often shown to be installed in a wall, however, they work very effectively as rear surround speakers. You do not need to buy the 16 ( subwoofer), they actually are sold separately.
That is what I did and I went one step further, I bought 2 Receiver 1's and a splitter and they now work wirelessly.
just a thought.
They need an Amplifier1 and along with the receivers and wholes in the wall they are a bit too much for me. I would rather prefer Beolab 14 which are active and don't require wholes in the wall. I will create a new thread about that because I can't find the their specs.
