Hello all,

I currently have stereo pairs of BL5s and BL17s with transmitter. I am curious to set them up as a surround sound and add a center speaker.

What kind of receiver/cables do I need to accomplish this without getting a B&O TV or BeoSystem? I don't want to spend too much. Have any suggestions?

Hi Austin,

I have a similar set up and have been successfully using a Marantz receiver, I would recommend Marantz 5010 or better.

For center I have been using a Definitive Technology Center Speaker.

Because the center is in close proximity, wireless not necessary and cabled directly to Marantz.

Cheers!

Austin,

Coming to think of it, I don't think Beolab can be converted to wireless and would require a wired approach.

I meant to say Beolab 5 can't be converted.
