My long awaited Beomaster 4400 just arrived today necessitating moving several amplifiers, Beograms, and speakers.
I am going to use my newly acquired beautiful S-45 speakers with my Beomaster 2400 and Beogram 4002, but first I need to know how to glue the magnet on the woofer before it breaks loose and destroys the speaker. I have an ugly set of S-45’s that I can use to replace the non-functioning woofer in one speaker, but first I really need to learn how to fix the woofer.
I also need to swap a mid-range, but that is no big deal.
So what do I do, step by step, if you please?
Many, many thanks!
Jeff

Thanks for your help everyone; the re-built S45’s are magnificent. I had NO idea the Beomaster 2400 could ever sound this good! I really didn’t.
For what it is worth I am very impressed by the remarkable sound from these tiny bookshelf speakers. I had a fried crossover network with my first pair so I couldn’t understand what all the fuss was about vis-à-vis these delightfully sounding speakers.
Sure glad I kept the first damaged pair as I needed a woofer and a tweeter for my newly acquired pristine set.
Ahem. Pictures, or it didn't happen.
Pictures or it didn’t happen? I didn’t think to take pictures of the process as the donor speakers were in sad shape, I was much more concerned that the replacement woofer and tweeter would actually work, which thankfully, they did.

So what I'm hearing you say is, "It didn't happen."
How about a picture of the finished result playing some music posted over on the "What's playing right now" thread?
Hi Rich,
Here is a photo of the S45.
S45-2 actually.

Piaf: Hi Rich, Here is a photo of the S45. Jeff
Very nice. Thanks for the photo, and welcome to the S45-2 club. My pair sit on my desk as part of my bedroom system.
Hi Martin,
Sorry, S45.2…. we had this discussion previously and you explained the difference.
Rich,
Thanks for the welcome. My S45.2 pair are in my bedroom as well. It seems a smallish room is just perfect for these speakers.
