The service manual on this site shows a crossover with a single capacitor. The pair of C75s I have just opened up to recap have two capacitors in the crossover. Is there more than one type of C75?
A bit more research and I think I can answer my own question - there are two models. Mine are model 6321. The crossover has two capacitors and they appear to have a different tweeter from the later model C75. There may well be other differences.
As an aside, I was surprised to find the surrounds intact as all the younger CX100s I have encountered had rotted out foam, or the foam had already been renewed.
Yes.Basically, there are three versions. Yours are of the earliest version, type 6321.Later came type 6323 where a lot of changes were made from serialnumber 2841001
