petrosbeli:

Yes, line-in latency can be switched off. Here is the related official information: http://bogous.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/7383

Thanks....

Ok, so this means that if I connect the BS35 to my TV, and also add's an A6 in the bedroom, I need to switch the delay on/off onBS35, depending on if I stream (and want multiroom functionality) or watch TV ?

But does this also mean that I cannot listen to the TV sound on the A6 ? Hmm, this is getting complicated :)

Only the line-in source is affected by this setting. That means, that if you connect a 3rd party TV and disable the latency (so you dont have lipsync issues), it is ONLY the line-in source that cannot be distributed on the multiroom. All the other sources (Deezer, TuneIn, Spotify, DLNA, etc) can still be distributed and are not affected by this setting.

So, you dont really need to toggle this setting on your daily life...

But yes, on the down side you cannot distribute sound from the 3rd party TV (via the line-in) to the other multiroom products. This is "normal" as multiroom distribution requires a "buffering", which by nature could cause a lipsync with live sources.

You would not have this issue with a Bang & Olufsen TV, as they are designed with the multiroom functionality built-in, and they can handle the picture/multiroom sync natively (but still you need a good WiFi network, to ensure that the buffering is not long)

Can anyone tell what BS35 show on the screen when playing from eg. Tunein?

My wife is tired of blindly flipping through TuneIn stations on our Belolab 2000 in the kitchen.

It shows the current playing station in the middle of the display and "TuneIn" in small letters on the upper part of the display.

Station name is in the middle, with large font.

If the station provides metadata of the currently playing song/program, it is also displayed in the bottom...

Yeah I have the update to my Essence too! It says you can activate timers etc. from the Beomusic app. So perhaps there's an update coming for that too. I heard Beolink and Beomusic apps were merging.

BeoVision Eclipse 55”, Beolab 18s, Beolab 19s, Beosound 1, Beoplay P2, H3, BeoRemote One IR, BeoRemote One BT, Beoplay S8, Beosound Essence MkII, BeoTime

If timers (now) are possible with the BS35 etc, why shouldn't they be with the NL-BV's too.

Will there be an update there too?

Or will we see the timers in the coming new BV's instead?

MM

There is a tv - and there is a BV

Let's hope so.

In my situation the BeoSetup app is way to slow to be usable for starting stopping timers.

You should be able to start and stop the timer from the BeoMusic app.

In the next update, BeoSetup is "integrated" in BeoMusic

Hi! I love its sound! It's very well balanced, present, with realtolife voices, full bodied bass, clear highs. Just what I expected. What other opinions have you received?

yes this can be disabled. Had to do so when I set up the BS35 with my LG TV through BeoHub.

Wonder what the second screen (below) is for ?

I tried to tilt the BS35 back and forth to see if the display changes, but nothing happened...Unsure

I asked about that at my local B&O store. According to them, it's not a display but it's the infrared receiver for remote control. Quite large at that.

Thank you for your post, but it really looks like a display...

[Edit] it seems your dealer is right

Difficult to read, but it's written "window for sensors and antennas"
