Beosound Stage, Beovision 8-40, Beolit 20, Beosound Explore.
Someone has bid on it at £995..... the price you could have bought a new one for when the Liverpool store operated as an outlet.
Difficult to believe that the original price was £2700..... the colour and that particular stand don't quite do anything for me.

I get asked for V1-32's pretty much on a weekly basis! If i had ten white ones I'd sell them all within a month I'm sure!
Personally, I like the V1. Superb picture, excellent sound and it's a Smart TV. It's just the design which is 'Marmite'
I have to say the Havana Brown ones were an awful idea though.

Chris Townsend:I've met dealers who couldn't sell any, and one who simply wouldn't sell them as he found it an affront to his view of what class of product he sells. He happily sold Beoplay, just not the V1. I accept as a technical piece of equipment it does the job very well. But then so does a donkey!

I like donkeys ---- hee-haw ;-)

There is a tv - and there is a BV
As a designer I find the Beovision 7 too chintzy and the silver plastic centre speaker quite ridiculous but then if you like that retro look, well good luck to you.The style of a white V1 suits our decor and functions pretty well so please just stop your sporadic attacks Chris!
each person has their taste . Mine doesn't extend to a brown V1 looking like a hostess trolley though....
Beo Century ,Beoplay V1, Beocenter 6, Ex-Beolit 12, Beotime , A8. Beolit 15 , Form 2i , Beolab 2000, Beoplay A3.Beosound 1
I agree, Simonbeo. Although I'm not keen on the look of the V1 (especially that specific brown), I will admit that the stand might look good next to a couple Le Corbusier chairs (which I think is what it was going for).
On a side note, I miss being able to contact eBay bidders of random auctions... I have plenty of "deals" for them to take advantage of!

I agree regarding the BV7, and I really like the V1 (...in white:))
The v1 32" seems to be quite popular here in Sweden, I've tried to get hold of one (great kitchen tv!) and according to the various dealers that I've contacted, I'm not the only one.

The V1/32 It was one of my dealers best selling components until B&O quit production. What a bad decision from Struer, there is still a market for a small TV.
Potential new customers entering his shop are asking on a weekly base for a 32" TV, but nobody in Struer has ears for my dealers demands.
"Believe nothing you read and only half of what you see, let your ears tell you the truth."

Tea, coffee, blueberry muffin?
I do however love the V1 - I'm the target audience. It's my favourite V1 :-)
I truly hope Play hasn't completely abandoned the TV market.
I'd love to use a Beovision, but I can't afford it - my money went into 18/19 Labs instead.
Chris Townsend:A new smaller TV is on the way so I'm told. The last V1-40 I saw for sale on eBay went for £800 ish, so I doubt they'll get anywhere near £1,000 for a 32!

it sold for £1,330 or they sold.... ?
we tend to forget there is more to design than designing.

Pretty reasonable residuals. And I'm sure you could get the brown stove-enamelled in White.
