Get it while you can.  With BM1000 and speakers, $400 total buy it now.

Took three tries to get this to post.  Anyway, I love the BM1000 & BG1000.  Even more than the Fabric Selector hates them.  One of these days...

One of these days I will get a BG1000 and set it up to play 78s.

Also, one of these days I will begin collecting 78s.

It's a classic chicken or the egg scenario - I don't collect 78s because I can't play them, and I haven't made the plunge with the 78-playing BG1000 because I have nothing to play on it!

Oh well.

On another note, I hope to remember to join the Wednesday Thread again some day!  Darn work getting in the way....

Yours is gorgeous (as expected) but it's across the pond!

Exactly, and 50 Hz, you will need my newly wound expertize to convert it, and starting collecting 78th. Sir you got a really old BeoVirus strand.

BTW, I had Bill Haley and Comets, Rock Around the Clock, on 78, back in 58/9 something, until my kid sister sat on it and broke it

Collecting Vintage B&O is not a hobby, its a lifestyle.

One of my technicians has a thousand 78s in storage. Guess I shold by the table and pick over his collection.
