I already bought the adapter (sold by B&O) to connect 3200 to the airport. I did the connections and 3200 is not playing anything.

Should I configure the 3200 through the remote control? What option should I press?

My 3200 is configured to play CD, Radio and A-tape (for the HD). The remain buttons don't work.

Thank you!

Hi Ilan and welcome to Beoworld,

I assume, that you want to connect your new cable to the Aux-port on the BeoSound 3200.

Doesn't the button named AUX on the 3200 control panel open this port???

Just for testing - did you try to connect your iDevice directly (remember to turn the volume up on the device)?

Millemissen,

Thank you for your help.

You are right. I was looking after an AUX button at the Remote Control. I didn't try straight forward on the 3200 central panel...

Connecting my iDevice directly is now playing. Connecting to the airport express is making a noise and not playing.

Regards,

Ilan

Hard to say, what goes on with the AirPort Express?

But the setup of it is pretty straight forward.

It is just like, when it is used with any other receiver, powered speaker etc.

There are plenty of desciptions and videos of how to on the web.

By the way - the 'A.Aux' button is 'hidden' in the List of your Beo4.

You will have to add it to the list - and then use it to activate the Aux port remotely.
