Hi everyone
I have a Beocenter 9500, and two remotes: A Beolink 5000 and a Beolink 7000. Both have the 'NO CONTACT' problems. I've used my iPhone's front camera on the 9500 to check the IR transmitter: When i make any adjustments to volume, source etc I see four LEDs flash through the camera.. so I assume it's not the Beocenter?
Two remotes - same problem... coincidence or Beocenter?

It's a very common issue with both remotes, do a search on this forum and you will find some threads regarding changing capasitors in the remotes. Beolink 7000 is quite easy, but the 5000 you shuold be more carefull with. It requres to remove the top PCB with the display attached, and there are good changes that if you wiggle to much with the flex-connection between PCB and display, you might create missing pixels on the display screen.

Thanks Weebyx! I'm looking for a clear guide for the Beolink 7000 cap replacement which includes replacement diode numbers. Can you help with a link?
Much appreciated
