Finally / Intro

Hi all,

Have been reading the forum for just about a year in preparation of my first ever B&O buy. As we have a new house being built, a perfect opportunity to realize that long wanted dream: a B&O system.

So for the last year I have been dragging the real general manager at home (wife) to the B&O stores for extensive listening sessions and try outs.

Finally we have settled on my long term charm; a BS5 with a pair of BL17 and a BL18. It will cost me some dinners to make up for it I guess but I have been smiling all week

Now just a matter of finishing the build of the house (summertime) and ripping the collection again to flac. Perfect opportunity to make sure it is complete and up to date again.

I love it when i read statements like this.  It's so nice to have a surprise and something that you have been wanting for a long time finally come. 

So many stories now-a-days you don't hear the delight.
