Hi,
Facts : when the window opens, the engine is running correctly and stops well ( door open) . When the window closes, glass closed -- > But the motor continues to run 3 or 4 seconds even if the door is closed.
I have cleaned and checked sensors, gears. The sensor above the white wheel well detects the difference between white / black.
Why does the motor runs even if the door is closed ? is there an issue to fix this ?

Voici les faits : lorsque la vitre s'ouvre, le moteur tourne correctement et s'arrête bien en butée (porte ouverte). Lorsque la vitre se ferme, la vitre arrive en butée (fermée) mais le moteur continue de tourner 3 ou 4 secondes, il force.
J'ai bien nettoyé tous les capteurs et vérifié les roues dentées. Le capteur au dessus de la roue blanche détecte bien la différence entre blanc/noir.
Quand la vitre arrive en butée, comment se fait-il que le moteur force ? alors que le capteur détecte bien la roue dentée en position fermée ?

I am almost certain that the motor does continue to run for a few seconds after the door/window has closed on all Beosound Century's. This is normal and there is no fault.
If you think nobody cares, try missing a couple of payments.

Are you sure ? This is strange ... Because the belt is stretched when the motor runs.
The other thing is when the door is closed the motor rpm is different (the sound is not the same) than the normal rpm (when door sliding).
Few months ago I brought the beo century to a b&o store, and to fix this problem it will cost about 250€
I have two Century's in my house and have checked both. Both motors (or something) continue to run for a few seconds after the doors have shut.
Hello, the post is old but I have another question concerning the opening of the door.
First the little rubber belt is broken and i'm wondering if it open both cd clamp and the glass door
Second question does any of you have any idea where to buy a replacement belt

By the way i also need a repare manual drawing in order to dismantle the Century and be sure after to replace aller thé components in the good WAY! !!!
no idea where to find the right belt but Conrad.com or any modelism websites would be able to have some belt and why the one you're looking for.
i didn't found manual but disassemble the century is easy, be patient and take pictures of what you do (to reassemble in the right order). Each screw has his own place to be.
the mechanism for the door opening is easy to understand but complicated to reassemble.
If you're not familiar with tiny screws, just give up.
Thanks Xavier for your quick reply. Concerning the belt it looks like more a round rubber ring that a flat belt . And for the way to disassemble the Century do you know if i begin by the front or the back of thé unit
