Hi,  all.

Beo n00b here. Just scored this TX2 the other day,  and it has some issues. Didn't pay much for it,  so not much of a cash loss if it is toast, but it would be cool of it can be brought back!

The story as I know it,  thus far. When I tested it before purchase,  everything appeared to work as it should,  except the tone arm wouldn't track. Scored it super cheap, so couldn't pass it up. When I went to test it again today,  it was sort of working,  but the tone arm was skating across the surface of the lp. Then,  it just stopped working. When I opened it,  I found the little thread belt (for lack of the correct nomenclature) that runs to the tone arm mechanism was no longer attached to the little spring.

As I'm new to these,  I've no idea how it should be reattached. The platter is also now completely locked up. Drive belt fit player is in seemingly good condition.

I don't know how to add pics to this thread from my phone,  or you would see the bit I'm referring to.

It would be great if this can be resurrected,  because who wouldn't enjoy having a moderately higher end table?

Thanks a bunch.
