What is material of this tip?
What have people use for replacement? (this is still present, on other deck, 5228, is not)
blah-blah and photographs as needed
The round thingy at the outermost end of the lever, is a fiber pad.I suppose there could be many ways to replace it but I like to take one of the little red fiber washers thatB&O used heavily during the 70's for circuitboard screws, cut two small and thin pieces out of it and glueonto the metal using a good slow-setting 2-comp. epoxy (I use Araldite Standard).
Martin
As the whole copper tongue on mine (BG 1000) was gone I made it like this with a piece of hard plastic, as Martin I glued with epoxy
Collecting Vintage B&O is not a hobby, its a lifestyle.
oh well, to fast fingers... double post
Thank you both. Something like that I was thinking, teflon in fact but, as usually when needed, did not found mine...
So plastick it will be, I was only unsure do araldit hold it.
Here is more nuts from 2000 (Edit: 1203 actually). Did not find any pictures about this kind startswitch.
I totally confused how it should work!
Or where it should connect
Oh my, so simple that it is allmost stupid. It is right where it should be, so simple that I could not see it
Next mystery. Where did this came from?
Or is it from this (1203) at all?

Right, thats it. Hope I dont miss anything else here. (exept brass moutings of it)
I think, you should be looking for one more bronze plate, smaller than the one you already found. If I'm not mistaken it should sit behind the other one.
There is none :(
Should be easy to remake, only if had model...
It is for end stop I guess. Maybe 3000 has similar?
Not exactly same, but...
It works, but it is not compatible as whole since top is different.

Yet, one happy Beogram
Not the prettiest one, but good practice, and it is working :)
