i wondered if i have the RIAA phono preamp option built in, found a board numbered 8002955 where i expected 8002956 RIAA or 8002982 LINE board. Does anybody know what it is?
Would anybody have a *** for sale?

you don't have the RIAA amplifier because the Capacitors are not populated, so there is nothing or quite so on your circuit. Why the number is not 8002982 is beyond my knowledge...
I am re-building the 8002956 RIAA Amplifier because I also want to upgrade my Beomaster 4500, are you interested?
As a rectification to my last post: 8002955 is a non populated RIAA Amplifier. I successfully tested the population of the components on mine. If you're handy in soldering SMD-components it's a matter of few hours to transform your 8002955 printed circuit into a RIAA-Amplifier.

I have a bit similar issue, but my challenge is that I would like to remove or bypass the existing RIAA 8002956 inside my Beomaster 4500 to connect Beogram 4500 (with RIAA) instead of Beogram 2402 (without RIAA).
I haven't opened my Beomaster yet, but I have the info of existing RIAA in the old purchase receipt (and I have used Beorgram 2402 on it).
If I'm not wrong RIAA 8002956 module is a replacement of the "regular"module without RIAA . I don't have the module (number?) without RIAA.
Any other ideas?
I just want to connect my recently purchased Beogram 4500 in the easiest way and keep the option to connect Beogram 2402 somehow (maybe with external RIAA).

^ If you want to be able to swap between turntables, wouldn't it be better to bypass the RIAA in the BG4500?

EDIT: Or you could consider something like this: https://www.haglabs.com/collections/accessories/products/iriaa2-inverse-riaa-filter There are cheaper versions on eBay. Disadvantages are (probable) reduced sound quality and requirement to connect B&O datalink signals around the filter - to allow remote control.
Thanks! That's maybe the easiest way, but I don't want to touch to BG4500 and I would like to have a possibility to connect different types of turntables (with/without RIAA) to the System.
Does the BG4500 work if it is plugged into the BM's CD socket? Select with CD maybe?
If so, you could just add an AUX expander to the CD input to make it easy to switch between the two.

Hi, some years ago I would immediately changed th enon populated 8002955 against your 8002956. But since I soldered the components on it, there is no sense in that any longer.
Anyway, from my earlier post, it seems that the whole circuit can be bypassed by only two 0-Ohm resistors. You could place a DIP-Switch there to activate or bypass the RIAA Amplifier. (Of course this means, that you still have to open your Beomaster to turn the Switches whenerwer you plug in a different Record player, so this might not be your favoured option)
