Hi all, been a while.
Possibly a silly question but haven't found any reference.
I'm in the process of buying equipment for a cinema room (garage conversion) which I aim to feed the following through a BeoSystem 3:
BeoLab 4000 (rear)
BeoLab 6000 (mid)
BeoLab 8000 or 6000 (front)
BeoLab 2 (front left)
3D Blue Ray player
Game consoles x2
Old PC as a media hub
Apple or Amazon TV
I'm hoping to also feed through dimmer lights so all controlled via the Beo4 Remote (need to read up on programming it).
If using a 3D Blue Ray player and a 2D/3D Projector, would a 3D signal be successful through a standard BeoSystem 3 rather than the 3D version?
I've been informed that this has been achieved but wanted to confirm before committing to a purchase.

Hooked: BeoSound 1 | BeoSound 4 | BeoLab 6000 (Titanium/Black) | BeoPlay H6
Capt Cave Man: I've been informed that this has been achieved but wanted to confirm before committing to a purchase.
Who achieved this.. was his name Gandalf ?!
I'd say a categorical no, but I'd be delighted if someone told me yes as my stock of 'Type 9601' BeoSystem 3's would have just increased in value!!
It could work, if your Blu Ray player has two HDMI-outputs.
Connect one to the projector and the other to the BSys3.

There is a tv - and there is a BV
Doesn't answer your question but I wouldn't stress about 3D.
samsung have dropped support from all their 2016 range of TVs and there is hardly any new content becoming available so it's dead. And not before time to be honest.
