I liked beophile.com for the B&O news updates, but there hasn't been much recently. It has also been a great source for product information. I went there today and noticed that the domain name has expired. I wonder if this is an oversight or if there is no desire to keep it up?
Is the Bang & Olufsen excitement waning? I sure hope not!
Let's hope it's temporary. Any B&O website deserves to live.

I just tried and get a domain name expired thing. Even forced a browser refresh with cntl-F5, still not there.

I'm afraid I'm recovering from the BeoVirus.
Jeff: I just tried and get a domain name expired thing. Even forced a browser refresh with cntl-F5, still not there.
Really odd. I can still see it and I've tried several different pages to make sure I'm not looking at an old cached page.
Just a problem viewing from the US? If so, what could cause that?
I can't get it here in the UK. says domain name has expired, the same when I try to Google it.
Same here!

There is a tv - and there is a BV
It sounds like they moved their domain registration to a new host provider and the new address has propagated to all of the domain name registration servers yet. So depending on where you connect to , you may get routed correctly or you may not. It can take twenty-four hours before everything is registered correctly again.

Just tried it again but now I too get the domain expired page!
So maybe the expired domain page is the one that has taken time to propagate around the web.
Does anybody have contact to the makers of beophile.com?
Or should someone in this forum grab this domain to keep it safe for beophile?
Or is any "beophil"ist member in this forum?

The full names and addresses are on Whois. I did send an email to the tech.
Perhaps something happened to the webmaster...
Whois reports one address in Yorkshire (Leeds) and one in France (Bellac). The domain name renewal was made yesterday, so there is hope.
Bellac in France? Mmm that does ring a (not that positive) bell....
The "original" owner of Beoworld before Lee took over was/is living there...
Anyway... the domain expired... owners need to renew the domain...

They have already!

That's the one I sent an email to.
The expired domain page still comes up. Presumably the owner will have a full back-up copy to upload when he gets the domain back.
And talking of the owner..... he sells Beoworld and then sets up Beophile. Is this something to discuss or a story that's best forgotten?
Been discussed, definitely best forgotten!
Ban boring signatures!

Say no more!
