Hi beo users! I have ripped many cd into my beosound5.

I view, in some tracks, the name is "unknown". Is possible change manually the name track copied on the beo?

I'm not view the options for change this.

I (still!) use the old Beoplayer for editing song titles and coverart.

Beoplayer is on my Mac mini (and on my Macbook) in Windows 8 mode.

It is also nice to use it as an independant link station for my BS5.

Welcome to Beoworld.

Mp3tag, is software for using on pc and not directly by consolle from beosound5.

my question is, possibile from function consolle beosound5 and not from pc attach with beomaster5.

You can not edit anything music wise from the BeoSound 5 itself. You will have to do it from a network connected computer.

I agree with koning.

The 'easiest' thing would be to use a Windows computer with MP3Tag to edit all false entries including coverpics in one session.

Map the BM5 drive and work on the files directly.

Depending on your library you'll need some time for that, but you will enjoy having spend the time on it afterwards.

Note: there are other similar tools and some claims to automate this.

However, I got the best results using 'handicraft' and MP3Tag.
