I have a pretty straightforward setup:
Two BeoLab 3's, plugged into a BeoLab 11, and that is plugged into the PowerLink port (port 1) on the back of a BeoMaster 7000.
I also have a 3.5mm male audio cable to DIN plugged into the TV/AUX port on the back of the BeoMaster 7000 so that TV/movie sound is routed through the B&O speakers. (The 3.5mm cable plugs into the TV's audio out port.)
I'd like to add a PlayMaker to the mix - how can this be accomplished?
If you control all volume levels (TV and Beomaster) only from the B&O remote you can simply put the Playmaker between the TV and the Beomaster. The audio out port from the TV goes into the Line-In of the Playmaker, the Playmaker should be set to fixed volume level and the powerlink-/line-out of the playmaker goes into the aux port of your Beomaster 7000.
Thanks!
One issue with that - the powerlink/line-out of the playmaker has an extra pin and can't go into the aux port of the Beomaster 7000. The Beomaster 7000's aux port has pins in a circle, but not a center one. Any ideas?
Use this adapter cable:
