Hi, I have a BV Avant 55" and I checked out the recording feature via USB. I connected my Hard Drive to it and I got a message: use this HDD for records. I confirm and it is formatted in an unknown file system that is illegible to any computer. I try to record and it works but how can I take recorded files out of that HDD?

Thank you all in advantage

Hi

I think they are trying to adhere to copyright laws. So it will record and let you play on the Avant but it will block you from using it on a computer so that you can't copy or share it.

Good evening,

You may have more luck looking in "underground" forums specialized in cracking stuff than here. B&O must certainly use an off the shelf solution for recording on the hard disk. I suspect the format used is an encrypted Linux/Unix file system.

Good luck,

Jean
