Another great review for the H6

Marco Arment is a blogger, iOS developer, one of the first employees at Tumblr, and podcaster famous in the Mac community. He has been compiling headphone reviews for 2 years now, and has just updated it with a stellar review of the H6... again.

Ah ah, so there is indeed a sound difference between the two generations. I had been wondering since the launch of Gen2. Strange that this does not appear to have been communicated clearly and that details over the improvements do not seem to be available. Anyway, this is good new :-)

I am going to try to have a listen to it, I am tempted to upgrade. But the Brussels Louise shop appears to have closed doors without notice, so there is not store in Brussels downtown anymore and I will have to look further :-(

I called my dealer, he will have the new H6 in this week so I will have a listen on Saturday, I think it might be the headphones for me that I have been waiting for.

I've listened to them in B&O store in Copenhagen coming back from work and had the chance to see and listen the BL90s as well. Great Speakers.

I haved ordered my pair of H6 (not BL90) at my dealer in Malmö (Limhamn) and found out that the other dealer in Malmö (located at Regementsgatan) is closing. Shopowner is +70yr and as I understood it B&O aims to have shop more centrally in Malmö. So any continuance plans for this particular (small) shop didn't happen.

There is a clearance sale at the shop on Regementsgatan ... I will have look later this week to see if there's anything left and to what price.

I have picked up my H6, after that my dealer initially ordered the A6 for me

I like them a lot and for me they're perfect. Clear and balanced sound and with much more 'present' bass compared to 1st gen H6, as with many audio reviews, I also hear parts and details in songs not heard before.

Do need to get used to have them on me though. Even without the ANC it feels quite isolated. Any scuffing/touching to the cable or headphones you hear very clearly , something you typically notice 'on the move' and not listening in the shop.

It seems that I have to order another pair anytime soon ...

Maybe they should even make a 'kids-ear-sized' version of that.

I find that with the H8 too when walking with the cord in. You really hear it and even when touching h cord.

Too bad for me but good news for those that were in doubt to get one - do it know, you won't regret it.

2nd generation is just amazing. Comes in new colors as well.
