My RX2 is no longer tracking at all. The tonearm will set itself right but will not move into the grooves.

If I cue it up, say to the 2nd song the arm will drop, pick itself up immediately, and reset to start position.

It has a MMC4 cartridge and anti skate is set to that specific. I'm scratching my head and don't know what else to look at. Has this happened to anybody else and what did you try to fix? Such a nice table I'd hate to let it go.

I've had a similar problem. It rights itself sometimes if you unplug it, move the tone arm over, then plug it back in. Or manually move the tone arm to the run out groove and let the auto return engage. I call it "self healing."

Thanks for the reply. It must be something else affecting the arm. I think I might just sell the table for parts. No one seems to want to touch my table. bummer Sad
