Hi there,
yesterday I have added brand new Beolab 5's to my existing setup. Until this point everything was good and my 2 beolab 4000 (cabled), 2 Beolab 6000 (cabled), 2 Beolab 17 (wireless) and Beolab 19 (wireless) worked perfect without any single fault.
After the Beolab 5 installation my Beolab 19 is gone. I have a test signal but no sound from any source.
I tried everything but no success. I also turn off the Beolab 5's thinking that bassmanagement doesn't send any signal to Beolab 19 because of too much bass but nothing happend!
Any idea what happend and where my problem is?
Thanks
Bulent

Hi,
You don't say in your description what the source is - but, my response to your question is based on the assumption that it's either the Avant or the BV11 in your list at the bottom of your posting.
If this is the case, then the reason your 19 isn't saying anything is because the television is not sending it anything. If you have BeoLab 5's and BeoLab 19 in the same configuration, then routing the bass to the 19 instead of the 5's is a significant downgrade.
If you wish to change the bass management, then this can be done in the Bass Management controls under the Speaker Groups in the BeoVision television. In there, you can override the automatic decisions manually and re-route the bass to the 19 instead of (or, if you wish, in addition to) the 5's. This is done in the Bass Re-direction menu. For details on exactly how to do this, please check the Technical Sound Guide for the BeoVision televisions via this page.
If you have any questions, please feel free to ask!
Cheers

Thank you very much for your interest Geoff.
first of all, I must say that you did a great job with the new speakers 5/17/18/19 series are all brilliant.
I'm sorry that I forget to indicate the source but yes it is BV11. I follow your suggestions and come back to you.
Thank you very much again.
Hi Bulent,
Thanks for the compliments. But I have to say that I had nothing to do with the BeoLab 5 - that was before my time. :-)
Please let me know if you can correct the problem (or at least see why it's happening) in the BV11 menus.
cheers,

Geoff,
I know that you havenothing to do with Beolab 5 but it is still a monster.
Anyway, the problem is solved. When I bring all re-direction balance setup to "0" it started to work. After that I have changed the balance setup for the other speakers back to left and right and still working.
Thank you for your support again.
Great to hear that it wasn't a "real" problem - and that you got it fixed. :-)
