I have resurrected my B & O setup from 15 years in storage in the  loft , kids gone and I'm back to my vinyl collection......However... on the amp , I lost one stereo channel before it went into storage - mono fine ?

Also , the 300 deck which worked perfectly , original cartridge and new B &O stylus at the time of storage , no longer functions when the 'button' is pushed , i.e. won't cycle to play disc .

It does rotate and turn off when arm  is moved  to required position .

Speakers . 3800 are perfect , however , re-glued bass edges ages ago , running them at present with a marantz 1050 and and economy pioneer deck .

Sounds like I remember and streets ahead of the CDs we were told were 'so much more advanced'

What to do ? i would like to get the deck functioning and wonder if it could be a case of cleaning and possibly lubrication and is that something that i could do myself  The weight of the deck is immense and precludes economical postage , ditto the amp.

Not too bothered about he tuner side of it , but remember that the little switches were prone to being 'sticky' when operated .It still lights up but I haven't tried it out with set up

Sell it or repair it . All suggestions welcome
