Is there anyone out there to help me to set my remote?

I'm having BeoSound 3000 type 2671 and BeoSound 5 Encore side by side in my living room and an old Beo4 remote (with ATAPE-button).

I somehow manage to use Beo4 to choose my music source if I set Encore into the state Option 4, so that I have to press LINK-command every time I want to use Encore (RADIO and A.MEM) and commands without previous LINK are used to operate BeoSound 3000 (RADIO and CD). For some reason LINK + A.AUX does not work. Perhaps because they both are commands which I have get behind the LIST button. LINK + RADIO and LINK + ATAPE (A.MEM) work fine 'cause those are real buttons in the remote, I guess.

Anyway I red that I could use Harmony Ultimate One -remote and Hub to replace my Beo4 so I'd have only one remote left to control all my gear. Problem is that I haven't been able to teach LINK-command to my Harmony-remote neither to my Hub. Which means that I have to use BeoSound 5 in the state 5, so that every time I want to listen radio, I start them both, radio in the BeoSound 3000 as well as radio in the BeoSound 5 Encore. Needless to tell that they are in different channels. Everything else works in Harmony-remote: INPUT AUX, INPUT TAPE (MEM) and INPUT CD but INPUT RADIO: disaster.

Is there any way that I could use to separate those two devices? Any ways to operate them so that when pressing RADIO, I'd only start the other device, no matter which one. Ideal of course would be if I could use BeoSound 3000 to listen regular radio (daily) and BeoSound 5 Encore to listen Internet radios (sometimes).

I start to feel I'm wasting my life with these f...ing remotes here so please. Someone. :)

Altough the library of Logitech lists Bang and Olufsen equipment. The Harmony remotes are not compatible in any way. Bang and Olufsen use a higher freq infrared signal.

NOT true....
I used a Harmony one some years ago, it does work.

But Beo 4 + Lintronics is the way to go!

Or buy a second (newer) Beo4 with the L.Option built in - and use that seperately for the system, that is set to Option 4/the Encore.

There is a tv - and there is a BV
