Maybe you can try to "tell" your Avant that the Denon receiver is a BeoLab xyz (look for a speaker that has the same characteristics as your Denon system (something between BeoLab 4 and BeoLab 5Wink)). That worked for my BeoVision 8. But don't forget to start your Denon system at low volume. Cranking up ist easier than a repair.

You can choose LINE instead of a Beolab and it will then output a regular signal for your amp. I think there is one with volume control and one that is fixed.

Beolab 50, Beolab 8000 x 2, Beolab 4000 x 2,
BeoSound Core, BeoSound 9000, BeoSound Century,
BeoLit 15, BeoPlay A1, BeoPlay P2, BeoPlay H9 3rd Gen, BeoPlay H6, EarSet 3i,
BeoVision Eclipse Gen 2 55", BeoPlay V1-40,
BeoCom 6000 and so much else :)
