Do any members have suggestions as to why my Beolab 11 should suddenly start 'Popping' when turning on and off.
The speaker is about 4 years old and this problem has just started this week. It works normally at other times.
Any advice would be appreciated.
Hi TomLyons,
Please can you tell us which product the speaker is connected to and which other speakers you are using with the Beolab 11? Are the other speakers also popping or just the sub? Hopefully we can then suggest a way forward!
Kind regards, Steve.

Hi Steve
The Beolab 11 is connected to a Beovision10 along with a pair of Beolab 18s. The Beovision10 has a Masterlink connecton to a Beosound 5
The Beolab11 is the only speaker affected
Regards
Hi,
Thanks for this. If the Beolab 18s work correctly when connected to the output of the Beolab 11 and no switch settings have been changed on the speakers recently then this sounds like a fault on the Beolab 11 subwoofer. I can recommend Simon at AVA Services (www.avaservices.co.uk) as Simon is an approved B&O repairer based in Crawley, UK and he should be able to resolve this for you.
If connecting the Beolab 18s to the outputs of the subwoofer causes them to also show issues then this may indicate a cable issue, in this case replacing the cable between the TV and the subwoofer with this one may resolve the issue:-

Thanks Steve. I will test it by running a test cable. All the speakers are wired up to go from the speakers under the floor to the TV so using the Beolab 18s cable will be a bit of a problem.
