Hi,

I'm new here, and I already own a beocenter 9300 and a beosystem 2500.

Since last week I have two problems with my 2500:

1. The Tape is not working

2. The remote is not controlling the beosystem anymore (but the remote is working on my 9300).

I took apart the tape module and the belt is here, not broken. I'm going to change it anyway (do you have a good belt provider to avise ?)

For the remote, I don't know what to do .. Is there a method to re-sync the remote with the beosystem ? Or the receiver of the B&O is out ?

Thanks for your help.

Regards from Switzerland.

Hi, i just left Switzerland, it's a small world, isn't it :)

abt your issues:

1-what does it do and what not, Martin/Dillen here on the forum used to suplly belt sets but otherwise just PM me.

2-maybe somehow the option changed (pr was it linked to another beosysten/tv as a ml-slave), try changing the option.

which remote you use ?

you should be able to find  the way to do this quite easy on this site.

Yes, it's a small world.

For the tape, I did a video, I think it's better this way.

About the remote, I'm using a beolink 1000, I checked in the manuals (beolink + beosystem) and I didn't find the way of changing the option. I'll have a look on this web site.

Thanks and sorry for my bad english.

So I solved my remote problem:

With the Beosystem in stand-by, I presse SOUND and 1 and STORE, and BOUM !! it works !

Now if there is a tape reader expert that can tell me what to do with mine.

Thanks !

Belt changed and few soldering redone. And the tape is back in the business.
