I recently received a B&O 7700 (1983) from my FIL. Everything was working at his home. I gently loaded it in my car and drove 4 hours home. At my home, I set it all up and the turntable would not work (album on the platter) I tried the "reset" button, no luck. When I press the "turn" button the platter rotates. (I did not know before transporting the unit that I needed to "lock" the turntable with the 3 screws under the platter.) I hope this unit has not been rendered useless as i really want to use it. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

What happens when you press Phono on the main panel ?

Sorry for the delayed response. The power comes on and the display lights up but no album or tonearm movement. (album is on the platter)
