I own both of this two televisions.
Now the 4-50 is in our living room and it is getting to small.
I tried to hook up the Pioneer Kuro to the Beosystem 3 because the black is much better from the Kuro.
I watched the same film with both of them and now there is a problem.
With the Beosystem 3, the Kuro has an really dark picture. It is like a to heavily tinted sunglasses and the colors aren´t so crisp like on the Beovision.
I tried to change the settings at the Kuro but had not really success.
In the Beosystem 3 there are many settings.
Wich of them should I change?
I do not want to get in trouble.....
Does anybody know what to do?
Hope somebody can help me.
kind regards, newbie
Beovision 12-65 NG, Beosystem 4, Beolab 7.2, Beolab 6000, Beolab 5, Beolab 4000, Playmaker, Beogram 5005, Beo4, Beo5, Beovision 7-32 MK3 (2x), Beovision 4.42, Beosystem 2 HD, Beolab 7.1, Beolab 7.4, Beovision 10-32, Beovision 6-26, Beosound Moment, Beosound 2300, Beosound Ouverture, Beogram TX2, Beogram 2404, Beomaster 3002, Beovox CX 75, Beovox CX 100, ibundo, Keyring.......
You can access the beosystem 3 settings by both menu,0,0,Go or menu (move to options),red,go.
first thing you probably need to do is change the monitor auto detect to off and set your screen resolution. After that you can try some of the settings. Note there is a reset option if you screw things up too much.
Thanks a lot :-)
I have already switched of the "monitor auto detection".
The only problem is that the picture is not so crisp as on the Beovison 4-50.
It is like you would look through sunglasses and I don't know wich settings I should take....
