With talk of an LG B&O connection, and an OLED B&O TV in the wings, what opinion do people have about buying a low use, good condition 2006 BV9 for AU$3000 (£1577)?

Is this folly?

If YOU like the picture quality and the sound of the Beovision 9: Go for it. It's one of the most beautiful TVs B&O ever made!

If you'll gonna buy external video hardware in the future, too, just check if there are some connections like HDMI if it is an MK1 Beovision 9. I don't know the TVs connections.

HD plasma picture on this TV still kills other sets for free to air TV (only thing I watch.)
