I'm new here, so I haven't had a chance to really search the forum... I have a Beomaster 5000 and Control Panel 5000 in need of repair. Is anyone aware of service available in the Miami-Ft. Lauderdale area?
Thanks!
Ken

Welcome to BeoWorld!
Not sure if it is still the case, but as recently as two years ago, B&o will redirect you to their regional repair facility (esp for older gear).
In your case, as mine, you should be redirected to: Benny Amina @ Modular Electronics in Atlanta... WEBSITE.
Benny is excellent and even if he is no longer the redirect -I would still use him.

Benny is your man. Send him an email first. Package things well, and they will come back to you good as new. Let's see, what's he fixed of mine: BM4000, BG4002, BC1900, BM1900, BC4500, retipped an MMC4 cartridge, and a Denon preamplifier.
I couldn't give a higher recommendation than I would give for Benny Amina.
My retail store in Palm Beach once directed me to Space Age Electronics in Pompano. 'Said they were especially good with older equipment.

Nice one, Bob. Hadn't heard of these folks before.
Hhhmmm....road trip?
Remarkable!
I have spent half my life between South Florida and elsewhere... attending school less than a five minute walk south from their (granted, current) location -and I have never heard of them!
Ken,
I don't know if Michael Dalton is still working on B&O projects, but he would be an excellent choice. Michael had his own shop, Dalton Audio in Clearwater and he did repairs for me when I lived in Seattle.
