Will the speaker display work on my penta 2's when used with the beosound 9000 using the 7-din pin connecting cables? thanks for reading and letting me know, Rob

No, you need to use 8 pin fully connected (used to be called Mk2) powerlink cables.

I have a BS9000 and Beolab Penta MK3 that works very well together. The displays works and shows all info.

When playing cd it will show the current track, not the current cd (if I remember correctly).

I have a BS9000 connected to Beolab Penta II's (via Beolink Wireless) and they work fine. You do need the fully wired (thicker) cables as Graham states. I thought my Pentas were broken when using the thin cables I had.
