What B&O are we packing for travel?

As I'm planning my next vacation, I'm thinking about what necessities I need to pack in the Louis Vuitton luggage. My hazel grey BeoPlay 8 headphones for the flight....my green BeoPlay A2 speaker for the hotel.... maybe a second BeoPlay A2 (grey) for stereo sound in the hotel.... Where do we stop? It's all I can do to resist the temptation to pack my espresso machine. Still, we do need that extra luxury of our B&O sound wherever we go. Right? So what B&O are all of you packing when you travel?

A related question is: have any of you stayed in a hotel room that was already equipped with B&O? How was that experience?

Off to the Florida Keys in July. The first things that's going in my bag, are my brown H8s and my A2.

Or maybe an A1Erm..

I wish they'd make an "old fashioned" AM/FM/DAB radio.

Beosound Stage, Beovision 8-40, Beolit 20, Beosound Explore.

In the early 90s I was staying in Le Meridien in Chicago, they had some B&O there, and a call to the floor waiter or the reception would bring you DVDs or CDs of your choice from a provided list, as I was as very busy important person (BIP or maybe PIB) I didnt reflect on it at that time.

Today I pack my 15 year old carry on with my Beolit 505 and enough rope for 5 days, if I need more I buy it, or let the hotel clean it, what is better start on the day than the early morning sun, fresh brewed coffee and quiet music on the balcony or the hotel terrace.

Collecting Vintage B&O is not a hobby, its a lifestyle.

Simply headphones for a flight and iPhone for its camera. Holidays are a getaway and adventure - I really don't think B&O is needed on a holiday!!! Holidays are about seeing culture, customs & having fun and adventures! Leave the old B&O at home!

Indeed. It seems that people actually ARE packing the A2 for travel.

Good idea. The full headphones could get quite hot and sweaty.

I will have to buy another headphone case - if B&O does not (soon )come with a suitable bag/case for the A1.

There is a tv - and there is a BV

As in remarkably bad - yes.

In fact most are.

Except the two places that had BV6s and the one that had an older Avant.

A Serenata and a pair of A8 earphones, because I am on a trip by velomobile (ORCA by Flevobike). Each gram taken uphill is an uphill task.

Wow!

@Michael- I was just at Louis Vuitton today hoping to find your bag. All of my luggage is monogram canvas. I thought it might be nice to have something for contrast. Is your cobalt bag leather or treated canvas? It looks like leather from the pics. However, at my LV they only had the leather in a brighter blue called "neptune." They only had cobalt in the treated canvas.

It is leather.

I bought this in the Paris store. It should be available. I decided on this colour over the orangy red.

@Michael. I agree about deciding against the orange red. The orange would clash with my red Porsche. These things are important!

Michael,  The new A2 in the Ocean Blue would look great with that bag.

I usually only take my iPhone and H8 in a messenger bag on vacation because i hate the long security checks.  Also I don't check any luggage.  I allow myself the luxury of having my luggage shipped to my destination.

I saw that at the dealer today. I love it. I was there to decide on either a BS35 or a moment for the old man. He said he wants a B&O music system. He thought they still made CD players. He would be most suited to a BS4. Pity they don't make them anymore.

As much as I like colour matching ie blue A2 I much prefer colour coordination so that's why I like multiple colours.

Dat blue doe. Yum.

Thanks. I love it too.

Now I need a larger one. I have a Bally deer skin bag in dark brown which is so beautiful. That's my favourite brand I think. I only wear Bally shoes. I just bought a pair of Ox blood loafers the other night. And recently a pair of olive green Oxford scribes.

I like shoes. If I wasn't a corporate person I think I would be a shoe creator.

Shoes are so my thing. Jeffery West in particular. Not sure if they've reached Australia. Fab Northampton based business hand making classic themes but with a real twist. . Google them and check out the website.

I'm off to NY and LA for a week on work but I'm gutted I have to take my Apple headphones as I've sent my H3ANC for repair (well, I hope replacement). I love them but...

- The cover on the button/microphone has opened up and the circuit board is exposed

- the jack appears to have gone wrong as I had to wiggle it to get the right earbud to work

- even before the above the button didn't seem correct - it would turn volume down without me touching it and triple click you just had to take your chances with!

- the ANC just fuzzed the song out as you go though a windy bit on the London Underground (I.e. When the doors are made to rattle). Pretty poor it wasn't tested in these conditions SadAngry

So overall a bit disappointed with them. Wish I'd got gold non-ANC!
