Beolink Wireless 1 Type 1780

Hi there,

I would like to know if somehow it is possible to connect a a passive B&O amplifier to a Beolink Wireless, this would allow me not to use a masterlink cable.

Sure you can. Just connect a (short) ML-cable from the Wireless1 to the Beolink Passive and connect any passive speaker. With an IR-eye you can control you music and sources with your remote. No futher cables are required.

Have not tried it with only a powerlinkcable from the wireless to the passive without a ML-cable.

The above first option works fine.

Hi,

You will always need two Wireless 1's. The first one is the transmitter and the second one, the one you will connect with the Passive, is the receiver. You can select this function on the Wireless 1. After that you can add more transceivers in other rooms. This works perfectly.

One small note - you cannot use the powerlink sockets on the wireless if you are using it as a mastermind "bridge". At least this is how mine works.

do you mean "if it is configured as the transmitter" ?

If yes to that I agree; it was a disappointment to me to find out that the transmitter could not also be in its own link room with its own speakers
