To be honest the "whats playing now" thread and some online reviews, have brought music and musicians new to me. Add this to Spotify and a Beosound product, i have now changed my B&O habit to 60/40 in favour of the TV whereas before it was 95/5 with just the A8's to keep me company.
As for Alison Krauss i just picked the first album i saw just now on Spotify. Did yo know you can make an Alison Krauss radio channel on Spotify, which plays and picks similar music.
I'm sure there are other equally good music players with subscriptions, that do something similar before i'm labelled a Spotify rep.
Getting the correct manual sound position setting on the back of the 8 sure helps the quality. If you can find it
Using the Ipad to stream the music, with my family photos playing in slideshow. How nice and cool. White with red frets???????

Chris the white BS8 / A8 has a white mains lead, I think you've been given the wrong one!
Spotify really is rather good - my only problem is that I have an appalling broadband connection and suffer from slow speeds - and unlike in the past, I actually pay for this! And to make it worse, my daughter invariably using Spotify whenever I want it!!

Chris I dont want to upset you but today did u see the new BV10 price drop - £1600 off the BV10-46 and £1000 off the BV10-40! I guess maybe to make way for the BV11

Yeah dude I do remember and everyone was shocked! Im totally shocked as I really thought the BV10 was if anything, the best selling television of the B&O range definitely the most desirable in my opinion! I just can't understand it!

Well done Chris the A8 is iconic! (Maybe i'm biased but design wise, it's my favourite BANG&OLUFSEN hifi product - definitely the safest too as I guess it's upgradable over time just be changing whatever system is feeding it the tunes! Pics please!

Thats looks awesome! Great thing is, with the removable dock socket, it's going to be so easy for B&O to offer the new size for the Apple range from September of this year!

DIdn't think about that as i wasn't sure if they were going to produce a new dock etc. Worst case i'll just leave the Ipad on top, as the music is better quality through that, as opposed to being completely wireless ie Ipad to A8 using Airplay.
Don't ask me why, i've only just mastered porn and emails let alone wireless protocols!

Oh gosh yes, when the guys talks about wifi, codes this and that, it truly throws me :) I wish Apple would bring out a great rival to Microsoft Office as Word & Excel as that software arhhhhhh.
