Hi,

I know it could be a long shot but I am looking for the black cover on the top of my Beomic BM6 (fit also BM5). See pictures...

So it looks like this:

Let me know if you can offer me this part.

Cheers!

Hi.

I am working on something loosely related to this, a 3D-printed replacement "collar" for a Beomic BM5 (the rotating part at the top).

Does the cap just pull out? I tried it on mine but I didn't want to use force as it didn't seem to move easily. If I can get my BM5's cap off I could model it and then a replacement part could be printed. It won't be perfectly, ie. the surface finish and color might not be as good, but at least it's better than no cap.

Hi lausvi and thanks for your reply and willingness to help.

Yes, the cap just pull out. At least it pulls out easy on my BM5. I think it has to be same on BM6 for which I am looking the cap for.

Try to rotate it slightly, it will get down I am sure.

But you got me to an idea. Of course I could visit the 3D-Printing shop and let this part be 3D-scanned and printed. I think the quality of the 3D printer is in the meantime very high. Though I have no idea how much it would cost. Probably not to much. I will try ...
