Hi guys,I have today purchased a B&O ourverture for my new home office setup. I also want to play LPs so have two choices and each has a question im nowhere near an expert enough to answer, can you help?
Thanks in advance
1; Will a B&O turntable connect and integrate with the Ouverture at all? Understand the remote might not etc but would the Ouverture act as an Amp of sorts?
2; 'If' the Ouverture will not allow a turntable to be connected and run through it, and i purchase a second B&O unit with a turntable, can both B&O units be connected to one set of speakers? I don' mind having two units in the office but would rather only have 1 set of speakers. Any way of doing this?
Thanks again Ken
A beogram can be connected to the Ouverture through the aux connection, depending on the Beogram type you may need a preamp for the connection, some BGs has a build in preamp, so you dont need a second unit/amp.
There are a lot of different boxes to connect 2 amps to one set of speakers or visa versa, Phonopreamps USA has more models, or ask Steve, Sounds Heavenly at the bottom of this page
And welcome to the forum
Collecting Vintage B&O is not a hobby, its a lifestyle.
To avoid any extra boxes, a Beogram 7000 has a built in RIAA and will therefore work with the Ouverture as a plug and play. The remote will not work as there is no datalink.
