1800 interchangeability with TX-2?

Have a TX2 on the way and can also get a 1800 for free that does not have a cartridge or counterweight and was wondering if the 1800 would be good to have on hand for parts or not.  thanks!

Apart from the cartridge and a few screws, they have absolutely no parts in common.

Thanks for the answer...yeah I know they are totally different animals but wasn't sure if there might be some parts I could use, you know, just in case :)
