Hello, Since I updated my Moment to last SW, the two outer rings of the moodwheel are not functioning anymore. With help of the dealer, we put back the SW one verssion, still no luck. Then I borrowed his showroom model (which was funtioning very well in the shop) to check this one in my network, same problem. So its probably not the Moment, but something with network or Deezer log in. I checked IP adresses. Also i can connect normally to Tunein and Deezer, can also use both services normally. But the moodwheel two outer rings don't work. Any ideas?

My answer is not 100%.

I believe, that the Moment needs input again after an update or system reset. The mood wheel uses your type of music. e.g if you listen a lot of "electronic music", the moment "gives" you fast/slow/light/dark tracks from your music habits.

I have the same experience now (after the update AND resetting), but i have had the missing function a few times before and after a few days it worked again.

Hope this helps as a solution if the outer and middle ring are greyed (The rings are used for Deezer).

If they are greyed, log in and check your account on the Deezer website, go to the 'settings' page and open the tab 'your applications' .

On this page you have to find the Beosound Moment application, push the 'details' button and look if your consents are granted. ( I could be that this Beosound Moment application appears some several times)

Now what to do? The solution to force the Moment to Deezer:

  1. Remove your Deezer account credentials in the Moment's menu, do a power restart on the Moment (off-on (not a reset)).
  2. Remove the Beosound Moment application on the Deezer Website page (details page, see above).

Next, enter your Deezer credentials again in the Beosound Moment. (Have now a look in the Deezer website if the application reappears).

It should now be working.

Chris, gonna try tomorrow. With power restart, do you mean to push the on/off button, or rake off the 220v from the wall socket?

I had the same after the latest update; logging out and logging back in Deezer solved the problem.

Mine neither....

Tried it on the way Chris advised. Also logging out and in. Still only the inner circle functioning.

Will take it to the dealer again and see if it works there. If so, then there  ight be a problem with my network, altough I don't think thats the problem. Functioned well before update and can see Deeze Playlist and use the music app to use Deezer.

Any other ideas?

I was a possibility to try, sorry to read it does not worked.

But you provide actually more information. if you see, browse, start actually your Deezer playlists on the Moment's Jukebox and the mood wheel is still greyed, then it must be a fault on the Moment itself and not pointed to Deezer, network or the Login credentials.

Let your dealer solve it. It would be nice to reply and let us know what solution he brought, its a fault what we have not experienced.

Chris,

The outer rings are not garayed out, thats the thing. They have their colours. When you press on them, the spot stands there, but no reaction. When you press the innercircle, a spot appears too, and another song is playing, including song/artist name left upper corner.

Could it be that it takes a couple of days before this works?

that were exactly the same symptoms I had.

really weird this is not solved by logout / login to Deezer on the Moment (with or without deleting the app on deezer.com)

question: when you remove the Deezer account on the Moment and you log back in, does the Moment then start reindexing, i.e. the rings do then grey out until the indexation is ready?

Well that's perfectly clear now.

I normally never use the moodwheel, I now tested it in reply to your answer....And you know... it did't work also.

I tried all three rings and when I push the outer and middle ring every 99 moods give me the same music track Crying

Only the inner ring works perfect, but this music is coming from my own collection. So to summarize, my outer and middle ring is not functioning also.

I a minute I write to Beocare, grrr.....
