Hello,
i aquired a nice Beovision 8-26 with System Module, Beo4 and a movable wall mount with a video count of 10 days
The seller had to send two parcels due to size and weight. Today the TV arrived well packed with bubble warp foil around the TV, stuffed paper and styro foam in the box.
After unpacking i tried to remove the bubble foil from the TV careful but unfortunately the seller used adhesive tape to stick the bubble foil to the speaker bar to the left and right. some of the adhesive remained on both sides of the speaker bar (see pics below). It's only a little bit sticky
How can the residue of the adhessive best be removed without dsmging the rubber of the case?
Thank you in advance for any hints or tricks!

Hello RaMa,
I'm using the tape that has been used for the packing and re-attach it to the places of the residue.
It sticks to itself easily. Fight it with its own weapons.
A intact piece of the tape from the packing (pulled off VEEEEERY slowly) will normally do it.
Don't use the tape that already has lost parts of the glue.
Press it several times on the residue and remove it again. This usually does it for me.
Works better for me than any form of chemicals...
Best,
hx
Good evening,
you can try to remove the adhesive with caramba 70, WD 40 oil or weapon oil (Ballistol oil ), put couple drops of the oil on a microfibre cloth, with the oily cloths carefully rubbed on to the adhesive, let it sit for a short time, then carefully try to remove the adhesive residues.
If the adhesive residues are gone, you can remove the oil with glass cleaner, but also be careful, use the same procedure as described above.
Good luck
Ingo

Hi hemenex,
unfortunately i threw most of the packing already away, only two small stripes from the bubble foil could be 'rescued' the way you told. It was still very sticky but i didn't have much luck with the residue.
I finally tried another adhesive tape ( in sum about two meters! ) to lift of the residue from the case in very small amounts.
The whole process took about 4 hours ! But now everything is fine
The advice of Ingo came a bit to late and i don't know how the rubber coating would react on 'Caramaba' and WD40. I don't have Weaponoil either.
To clean it up and remove the last bits of the tape you can use simple sunflower oil which shouldn't harm the surface. I managed to get rid of some stickers on a notebook screen without damaging it. :-)After the procedure: Enjoy your B&O TV!!
